Once you’ve found the right course, the next step is simple.

Many Stepping Stones courses can be purchased online straight away. For some qualifications or specialist training, you may need to register your interest first — and our team will guide you through the next steps.

This means you always know what to do, without any confusion or complicated sign-up process.

3. Create Account

After your purchase or registration is confirmed, you’ll receive an email invitation to set up your learner account.

Your account gives you access to your online training platform, where you can view your course materials, track your progress, and return to your learning whenever it suits you.

4. Start learning!

Once your account is set up, you can start learning straight away.

Most of our courses are fully online and designed to fit around busy schedules. That means you can study at your own pace, access learning on different devices, and return to your course whenever you need to.

Everything is designed to feel clear, flexible, and manageable.

5. Complete Activities and Track Progress 

Depending on the course, your learning may include self-paced modules, downloadable workbooks, quizzes, reflection tasks, or coursework submissions.

You’ll complete everything through the platform, making it easy to upload work, follow your progress, and stay on track throughout your course.

For team training, this also makes it easier to manage learner progress across your setting or organisation.

6. Receive your certificate!

Once you’ve successfully completed your course, you’ll receive recognition for your achievement.

Stepping Stones courses include a digital certificate of completion, while NCFE qualifications lead to official certification through NCFE where applicable.
