How do I enrol in a course?

Enrolling with Stepping Stones Training is quick and simple. Just choose the course (or bundle) you’d like to complete, click the enrol or purchase option on the course page, and follow the checkout steps. Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive access details by email so you can start your training online straight away. If you’re enrolling as a setting, organisation or team and need multiple learners added, you can contact us and we’ll help set up your enrolments.

What is an enrolment key?

An enrolment key is a unique code that gives you access to a specific course. It’s usually provided by Stepping Stones Training (or your employer/setting) and is used during enrolment to unlock the course, confirm you’re joining the correct training, and make sure access is given to the right learner(s).

How long do I have access to a course?

You’ll have access to the course for the full access period stated on the course page at the time of enrolment. Most learners can complete the training at their own pace, and you’ll be able to log in and return to the course during your access window. If you need extra time, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help where possible.

Will I receive a certificate after completing a course?

Yes — once you successfully complete a course, you will receive a certificate of completion upon eligible courses.

Can I get help if I have trouble accessing a course?

Yes — absolutely. If you have any trouble accessing a course, during a course or completing a course, our team is here to help. You can contact Stepping Stones Training for support with login issues, enrolment keys, course access, or technical problems, and we’ll guide you through getting back into your training as quickly as possible.

What device should I use to access the course?

You can access your course on any device with an internet connection, including a laptop, desktop computer, tablet, or smartphone. For the best experience, we recommend using a laptop or desktop, but the courses are designed to work across devices so you can learn wherever suits you.

What is the Early Years Programme and who is it for?

The Early Years Programme is a complete training and compliance system designed specifically for Early Years settings, nurseries and childminders. It combines staff training, leadership oversight, policy integration, reporting and inspection readiness into one easy-to-use online platform — helping your setting stay confident, consistent and inspection-ready with less administrative burden.

It’s suitable for:

  • Domestic childminders (sole practitioners)

  • Non-domestic childminders (small childcare teams)

  • Nurseries and larger settings (multiple staff and managers)

Each package gives you access to mandatory core courses, carefully curated course bundles, policy and procedure management, reporting and tracking tools, live and recorded webinars, and ongoing support — all delivered online.

I’m not sure which course or programme is right for me — can I speak to someone or book a demo?

Yes — absolutely. If you’re unsure which course, bundle or training programme is the best fit, you can contact our team and we’ll be happy to help. We can talk through your needs, recommend the most suitable option, and where available, arrange a demo so you can see how everything works before committing.
